Delete your hinoto account

Delete from the app

1. Open the hinoto app and go to “My Page” from the menu on the home screen.
2. Tap “Delete Account” at the bottom of the screen.
3. Confirm the deletion, and the process starts immediately.

Request deletion without the app

If you have uninstalled the app, you can request deletion through our contact form. Write “Account deletion request” in your message, and include how you sign in (Google or Apple) and the email address you use to sign in. After verifying your identity, we will delete your account within 30 days.

Data that will be deleted

• Your journal entries and attachments such as photos
• Replies from hinoto, analysis results, and reports
• Your profile and settings
• Share pages you created
• Your account sign-in information

Data that remains after deletion

• Records of how the app is used (such as screen views and feature usage counts; this does not include your journal content). These may be kept as statistics to improve the service.
• A record used to manage the deletion process (your user ID and processing status only). It is automatically erased once processing is complete.
• Purchase history. This is managed by the App Store / Google Play, so we cannot delete it.

Please note

• Deleted data cannot be restored.
• If you are on a paid plan, deleting your account does not cancel your subscription automatically. Please cancel it yourself from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
